This Friday the year 9s had their final session of planning for their expedition in June. I’m told they are doing well with this and we even have most of their plans already, which is a record for us!
Year 8 organised some activities for year 7s. There were 4 activities in total. In the first activity they had to light a candle using a match tied to the end of some broom handles- more challenging than it sounds! They then had to make their way around some cones, without stepping off 2 planks of wood.
Next there was a treasure hunt on the front lawn, followed by a challenge to keep a box of matches burning as long as possible, using only one lit match. It was nice to see year 7 get so competitive and year 8 enjoyed being in charge for the week!
