The Explorers had their turn at the high ropes and rafting whilst the scouts completed the Brecon Beacon walk in what was, unfortunately, rather more miserable weather than the start of the week
Today the explorers had a long and challenging walk on the Brecon Beacons, made even more challenging by the warm weather. Luckily there were some very rewarding views to make up for it. The Scouts had a shorter walk by the river, taking in some impressive waterfalls.
There was a short walk back from Hay on Wye today, with the other half of the day spent preparing some rafts for later in the week and going down the water slide.
The kids have arrived safely and camp is well under way. Luckily the weather held out while tents were put up.
Another successful expedition introducing the year 9s to a Duke of Edinburgh style camp.
